Hey! My name's...well, you saw the home page.

I'm a lot of things: a cartoonist, illustrator, animator, composer, writer, improv comedian, and furry. None of those are officially "professional", but hey, being passionate about something is a less literal, just-as-good version of being professional, right? ...right? ...Ah, whatever.

I've been drawing and writing for as long as I can remember - I learned how to do it pretty fast. One of my earliest memories is from when I was only 3 or 4 - I took a toy car and scraped the alphabet into the wall with it. I proudly announced "Look, dad...the alphabet!" and he and mom still look back on it and chuckle.

My art has evolved a lot and changed over the years. I went from typical young kid drawing style to copying Miis, to copying Bill Watterson, to copying Dav Pilkey, to copying Jeff Kinney, to eventually developing my own style through combining all the influences, as well as my observations from reality. My biggest influences right now are Stephen Hillenburg, Joe Murray, Craig McCracken, Alex Hirsch, Ian Jones-Quartey, Lauren Faust, (specifically her work on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) Bill Watterson, (still!) Dav Pilkey, (still!) and Genndy Tartakovsky.

A wise yet very silly animated rabbit once said: "Laughter is a very powerful thing. Why, sometimes, it's the only weapon we have!" and that's become my motto. I love to make people laugh and think at the same time, and my favorite art in the world does that, so that's what I try to do with my creative work, whether it be drawing art for friends or playing around with video editing. Then again, I most frequently watch things like this, which are just for the funny, so...I dunno.
